Motivation

That growing belly and the increasingly strong (and oh so frequent) kicks remind me that this baby will outgrow my body in the next twenty weeks, give or take. I have never known stronger motivation to keep to my gym schedule. I want to be healthy for myself and this baby. I need the strength to care for this baby when she arrives. I feel better when I go to the gym. But, what gets me there after a long day at work, is the reality that labor is just around the corner. And so, I go.

* This photo is me fresh from a work out. Perhaps not the prettiest pregnancy photo we've taken, but definitely among the most accurate.

Cara, this is a lovely picture. So glad you are enjoying your pregnancy. I added your blog to the Orlando Modern Quilt Guild's home page. I hope that is OK. If not, let me know and I will take it off. I hope you can make next Wednesday's meeting. I know it is hard with work schedules. If not, hopefully the Saturday sew day will work. Take care.

You look beautiful and BRAVO going to the gym. I'm convinced that once you know how good it feels to work out - you're more prone to do it.

And at least in my opinion, there's nothing more important than getting in to a good exercise routine once you're a mom. It will strengthen your body, mind AND spirit. And help to get your figure back in shape! :)

Enjoy every moment!
